2022

While Kotera’s Cloud SME tiger team is busy provisioning an Infrastructure-as-Code HIPAA compliant hybrid Cloud to support viewing radiology imagery, Kotera’s R&D team is developing two new innovative services to be offered in 2023.

2021

As an Amazon Web Services (AWS) partner, Kotera LLC implemented an AWS Landing Zone design for a public sector transportation customer.

The significance of the greenfield project was to migrate transit applications and data for public transit users that needed data in real-time to mobile devices and administrators that needed to modify transit schedules.

2020

Kotera LLC’s Subject Matter Experts completed a Lift-and-shift migration for a public sector customer that involved moving various Microsoft Windows and Red Hat Linux systems from their Colocation datacenter to AWS GovCloud.

Added value was integrated into the project by Kotera LLC by integrating a third-party storage Backup & Restore (BUR) solution to meet Recovery Point Objective (RPO) and Recovery Time Objective (RTO) Service Level Agreements (SLA)s.

2018-2019

Kotera LLC’s tiger team traveled to NY, NY in support of a global e-retailer in needing to migrate & Re-platform their website applications to AWS Elastic Container Service (ECS). The team developed the Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) that would deliver reliable managed resources just in time for the shopping holiday season

2017-2018

Kotera LLC workforce supported a Public sector Government client to implement a solution that provisioned security controls across an AWS Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) Hybrid Cloud that resulted in various public service applications being approved for Authority to Operate (ATO)

2016 - 2017

The faculty engaged on a Cloud Computing migration project in support of a Government customer transitioning to a FedRamp approved Cloud Service Provider. Key personnel were recognized with awards for successfully simultaneously supporting 100+ programs during the migration through the Cloud Adoption process.

2015

In 2015, in support of the EIES contract, personnel supported the project by completing Systems Integration of virtual application packaging to include supporting a version upgrade for a federal customer.

2013

In 2013, in support of the NGDE contract, personnel deployed to Southeast Asia to architect, engineer and integrate a Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) system with roaming profiles for a federal customer.

2011 - 2012

During 2011 – 2012, in support of operations at JFCOM, personnel supported the Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI), virtual application and server migration project for a federal customer.
